Peter has over 10 years’ experience in electrical power systems and Smart Grids. He began his career as a Research Associate at Newcastle University, focusing on demand-side response, EV charging, and power systems research. Moving from forecasting manager at Ecotricity, to Head of Technical Delivery at Ecotricity Smart Grid, Peter developed the architecture for an automated optimisation platform for renewable assets. Peter specialises in algorithm development, optimisation, and data analysis. He holds a PhD from Newcastle University, where his research explored novel techniques to enhance power system capacity.
